Do you offer guest passes?

We don't offer guest passes, however at the end of each term trial classes will be available. Trial classes are a great opportunity for a guest to participate in a beginners pole class, or get back on the pole after a break.

Are children allowed entry?

Due to health and safety regulations, children are not allowed entry unless they are in a Bubs & Me class.

Do you offer a trial membership?

We don't offer trial memberships currently. If a trial membership would be beneficial to you, please email us to let us know. If we receive a significant number of enquiries regarding trial memberships, they may become an option in the future.

Do I need a buddy to bring to Pole Practice Hour?

You don't need to bring a buddy to Pole Practice Hour. A staff member will be in the building for safety reasons, but this is student only practice time so there won’t be any instruction or spotting. If you feel that you need spotting to practice your pol moves, we recommend signing up for an Open Pole class. However if you do want to bring a pole buddy then just remember that they also need to book for the session and be a current Polesque student.

I've done pole before at another studio but I'm unsure what level I should start at your studio. What do I do?

If you have done pole before and you're unsure what pole level to book, please contact us to discuss this.
We can book you in for an evaluation with one of our instructors to see what level they think you would suit best. An evaluation takes approximately 30 minutes and costs $35.00

What do I wear?

For pole fitness it's best to be comfortable but also wear clothes that are easy to pole in. We suggest shorts or booty shorts, singlet or crop top, no shoes or socks, and heels for appropriate classes. When pole dancing, exposed skin can help you grip and will make many more moves easier.

What do I bring?

Bring your personality, a smile, a towel, grip-aid and lots of water. Grip-aids are liquid chalks, or similar products, that will assist with sweaty skin and help you grip the pole better. If you've never tried any before, our amazing instructors can explain more about them and we have a selection to sample and purchase at the studio.

Can I wear heels to my pole classes or is it bare feet only?

We prefer for beginner and level 1 to have bare feet so that each student can get a feel for pole without complicating the moves and allowing to concentrate on safety. We believe in setting good starting points and not overloading students with too much too soon.

If you have finished level 1 and are starting level 2, then yes you can bring heels to class. We also have a heels class which might be something you will enjoy.

Do you have baby change facilities for bubs and me classes?

Yes we do! We have a change mat you can use as well as diaper bags and disposable change mats. As a parent I know how busy life is with little ones so we have some spare nappies and back up items if you forget.

What if I cant make my booked class, what do I do?

We understand that life happens and that sometimes you can't make a class. We just expect 5 hours notice of cancellation of the class. After you have cancelled your class, you can log onto the MINDBODY app and rebook another class on the timetable that is available and suits you. You can also book another class instead such, as Stretch & Splits, Conditioning or Pole Flow.

What if none of the times or days suit for classes?

If no days or times suit on our timetable please contact us. As a new studio we are finding our feel and ask for all of our valued students for feedback and input with upcoming term timetables. Whilst sadly we can't suit everyone's needs we do try to listen to our students and organise a timetable that suits the majority of needs. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

How do I know when I'm ready to go up a level?

As you progress through the term your instructor will be looking to see how your progressing. It is important that you listen to them and do every move safely.
The instructors have a checklist of moves and holds that you must be able to perform prior to progressing to the next level. The purpose is to have the basic moves perfected to set good standards of pole performance to assist you at higher levels. If you are unsure of how you are going, just chat to your instructor or send an email via the contact page and we will be happy to help.
If you need to re enrol into the same level we offer a 10% off discount. I myself had to do each level at least twice, I wanted to make sure that I mastered each move perfectly prior to learning more.
